WSC 5.4 / 5.5 / 6.0 WoltLab Plugin-Store Connection

A user can link his own WoltLab Plugin-Store account to the account on the website via the user profile. The user account is verified by entering the API key. Products already purchased are loaded immediately and the user account is activated for the corresponding user groups. All purchased licenses can be assigned to a domain. The highlight: If a user buys another product in the plugin store, it is automatically activated for his account. It is not necessary to enter the API key again. The user will be informed about this by a notification about the automatic activation. All licenses are additionally displayed to the administrator in the user profile.

The initial installation is very simple. The dealer keys must be stored in the ACP. That's it! All Plugin-Store transactions are additionally displayed in the ACP. The connection also integrates into the ACP statistics. All Plugin-Store products have to be created accordingly in the ACP. However, products can be synchronized automatically with the Plugin Store via the API. Several user groups can be specified, to which the customer should be added during the activation.

In addition, we have now connected the plugin store to our VieCode Shop for the first time. In the customer area, Plugin-Store customers can now also download the purchased plugins. This avoids the waiting time, which is caused by the activation of updates by WoltLab. In the settings you can configure under which conditions Plugin-Store customers can download the products. The version number and the respective product are defined in the settings. The package server is not supported for technical reasons.
